The operation procedures of small asphalt mixing plant

1 preparation:
(1) Heating asphalt pump half an hour in advance, heating asphalt pool two hours in advance.
(2) Manually running the parts of asphalt plant.
(3) Check whether all valves are in working status, manually take oil, preheating asphalt pipeline and measuring tank until the normal work.

2 Powers:
(1) Heating asphalt pump, this can be closed after half an hour.
(2) Stir to open.
(3) Open the air compressor.
(4) Start dusting motor.
(5) Igniter.
(6) High-pressure diesel pump.
(7) Observe whether the ignition is successful, three unsuccessful must stop to check..
(8) Start blower motor.
(9) Start the main pump.
(10) The drying drum should be opened by manual operation.

3 The production process:
(1) Drum drying.
(2) Elevate ore hopper.
(3) Drop by ore hopper.
(4) Waiting for three minutes (wet material for three minutes, dry material about one minute) to be good material drying.
(5) On the screen, click taking asphalt, spraying asphalt, taking powder, add powder. Stir for two minutes.
(6) The finished hopper down to the finished product tank.
(7) Elevate the finished product hopper; open the storage silos to discharge.
(8) Elevate ore hopper.

4 Shutdowns:
(1) Shut down the main oil pump and high-pressure diesel pump.
(2) Close other moving parts, keep drying drum, draft fan, drum fan to run.
(3) Cleaning asphalt pump, piping and asphalt measuring tank.
(4) Waiting for furnace and roller cooling, turn off all motors.
(5) Disconnect the power.

A common fault analysis of asphalt mixing plant - Filler Supply System

1. Material level is not normal
Diagnosis:
check the level meter output is normal or not;
check whether mineral powder played too hard, causing material level meter does not work properly.
Exclude:
output is not normal, the indicator to repair or replace the indicator;
if mineral powder played too tight, Filler Supply System should be cleaned, until normal.
2. Measuring nowadays powder is slow
Diagnosis:
check whether the butterfly valve switch is normal;
check whether the rotating feeder blade is stained with mineral powder;
Check whether the mineral powder is bulging in the tank.
Exclude:

Butterfly valve opening is not normal, to adjust its opening to the normal condition;
Rotary feeder with powder: ornamental butterfly valve, open the cover plate of screw machine ,open feeder, with a hammer knock the enclosure of feeder, until the feeder blade clean.
Mineral powder is bulging: first pressure breaker arch, if the result is bad, then with a hammer knock powder cans, and then if the result is bad, open of the powder tank entrance, broken arch by manual shovel powder.

1. Dust leakage

2. The problem of bag
a. the temperature of dust gas is too high
The temperature of dust gas must not exceed the maximum allowable temperature. The cloth bag can generally be under 200 high temperature, if the inlet temperature more than this value, the damper should be opened for the introduction of cold air cooling.
b. the humidity is too large
The bag is blocked if the climate is wet, so the wet cloth bag should be dried or replaces a new bag.
c. dust accumulation
If the dust accumulates at the bottom of the bag in the dust collector, the bag will accelerate wear. At this time, you shall check the running status of dust discharging device and check for leaks, and take corresponding measures.
d. bag wear
The inside of bag is dirty, because the dust is into the bag, which also caused the wear. In addition, if the dust is accumulated in the powder outlet, in order to prevent bag damage, the powder feeding device of the dust collector should be checked and the dust bag should be replaced.

Classification Of Asphalt Mixing Plant

The technique and method of making modified asphalt

b. the content of  modifier should be appropriate in the modified asphalt matrix, should be ensured according to the technical requirements, past experience and equipment status.
c. according to the content of the modified of the modified asphalt matrix, the modified should be made to the modified asphalt having a desired content of the modifier.
d. modified asphalt matrix and modified asphalt should be uniform mixing, and blending temperature should be appropriate. The modified asphalt should be producted when needed. when break time storage, should be transferred to storage with continuously mixing or pump cycle.

Bag Dust Collector is the best dust collector system of Asphalt Mixing Plant

During mixing asphalt mixture, asphalt mixing plant will produce a lot of gas, dust and combustion residues, with particle size of above 0.5 μm. If directly discharged, these dusts will cause serious pollution to the surrounding environment, and also affect nearby residents and crops, etc. Therefore, to meet the emissions standards, the smoke and dust must be collected by the dust collector system.

The early dust collector system can only remove large particles (> 5μm), dust removal rate is only 75% -85% generally. With the improvement of environmental requirements and dust removal technology, asphalt mixing plant has been reached emissions requirements by using secondary dedusting. And the methods of secondary dedusting include wet dust and bag dust collector.


The wet dust collector is relatively simple in structure, low cost, having spray-type, venturi-type and other types, and can achieve a certain dust collection effect. But it will lead to secondary pollution problem, because waste water will gradually be acidified by the flue gas of sulfur, nitrogen, etc, during the recycling waste water. The acidified water may have a corrosive effect on steel, will form a secondary environment contaminated if discharged arbitrarily, and so wet dust has been diminishing in asphalt mixing plant.

National standard warm mix asphalt concrete (draft) through review

May 9, 2013, the National Standardization Technical Committee hosted a review meeting of warm mix asphalt concrete (commonly abbreviated as WMA) (draft) in Kunming, Yunnan Province of China. Evaluation experts, drafting group members, a total of more than 20 people attended the meeting. Review Committee examined the draft WMA chapter by chapter, debated item by item in detail, and proposed the specific amendments. Evaluation experts agreed that the standard of WMA generally reached the international advanced level, agreed to adopt the review. According to the comments and Suggestions of the Review Conference, the drafting group was required in the meeting to further revise and improve the draft WMA as soon as possible, for the reporting approval.
National standard WMA filled a void of asphalt concrete industry in our country, laying the foundation and basis for the widely using of warm mix asphalt concrete in our country, and played a positive role for the development of low carbon environmental protection economy.
